This ammo’s non-reloadable steel cases are plated in zinc. It’s pretty. More importantly, zinc shields the underlying steel against corrosion. We’re not saying this ammo can spend several years submerged in the ocean, but it is just a tad safer within normal storage conditions.

This ammo’s not like the usual cheapo steel-cased stuff you’d get from Mother Russia. Its bullets do not contain steel. They will not attract a magnet. It’s also loaded with Boxer primers – totally noncorrosive, although that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to reload this ammo’s cases. We cannot impress this on you hard enough: This ammo cannot be handloaded. (Well, technically it can, but you’d be a total silly ninny if you even tried.)
